The famous Globetrotters

Who have not heard about them? Since we were children we could see the famous shows and cartoons that made us laugh. Probably, that's how we all remember the famous basketball team, the Globetrotters, the specialists that know how to mix comedy with the famous sport of basketball.
The team was founded in 1927 in Chicago, Illinois. The team adopted the name "Harlem" as they were leading the African-American community.
This famous basketball team set its first steps in the Negro American Legion League and their name was the "Giles Post" and in 1927 when they became a professional team their name was change to "Savoy Big Five".
Undoubtedly, the most relevant aspect that has made the Basketball team so incredible famous in the world is their routines including; an incredible combination of skills and coordination, handling more than one basketball and balancing or spinning balls on the fingertips.
Over the years, the Globetrotters have been touring more than 100 countries with their exhibition games. Acclaimed by a great majority the basketball team is considered a positive influence and in 2002 they were included as part of the Basketball Hall of Fame.
