Marriott StreamSide at Vail-Douglas is a laidback hotel that offers parking facilities, a fitness center, business center, tennis courts, whirlpool, and indoor pool. Its proximity to popular restaurants like Osaki's Sushi and Japanese Cuisine, Sweet Basil Sapphire Restaurant & Oyster Bar, and Pepi's Restaurant & Bar, make it a popular option with tourists.

A member of the Sonnenalp Family of Resorts and Hotels, Austria Haus Club and Hotel is a tourist magnet, owing to its prime location next to the Covered Bridge on the banks of the scenic Gore Creek, minutes away from the Vista Bahn chairlift and a variety of stores and restaurants. Built in 1998, the boutique hotel offers valet parking, laundry, a fitness center, whirlpool, outdoor pool, complimentary breakfast, and a bar on site. It has been awarded for its International Resort Architecture and Design in addition to being a recipient of the highest platinum ratings from the Vail Valley Tourism and Convention Bureau.

The 165-room Lodge at Vail is a deluxe property a few feet from the ski slopes. A basic room is roughly $120 off-season, $495 at the peak; the three-bedroom penthouse, with a view of Vail Mountain and a fireplace, can cost up to $5,300 a night. An inexpensive option is Roost Lodge, two miles from Vail. It has convenient shuttle buses to the lifts. Rooms in season are roughly $100.
