Hearts of Goodness…

Acknowledging that there are good people in the world
I am finally starting to believe there are people who are willing to help you with no ulterior motives in mind.
Came to this conclusion recently, while receiving online assistance from multiple people, who never once asked for something in return.
Can you believe it? Just helping out of the goodness of their hearts, because it makes them happy.
Is that how it was in the "good ole days"? If so, I would like to have lived back then.
Our society is too materialistic. Don't get me wrong. I'm no saint in that area either. In fact, I'm working very hard to change who I am to the person I want to be. (Less materialistic with a better Heart)
Fortunately, many online friends are helping with this.
It's amazing the amount of support that is out there. All you have to do is ask, and ye shall receive.
Be cautious though. Common Sense tells us that not everyone we meet is so generous. There are people who are out for number one and that is all that matters to them.
The sad thing about that though, is they will never really experience the great feeling that comes with using the goodness of your heart to make someone happy.
One of my 2003 goals is to be more like the people I admire most.
You know who they are.
The ones you can count on time after time to answer your questions to the best of their ability.
They are sincere in wishing you success, and will do whatever they can to help.
So, Thanks to all of the Good People out there who donate their time and knowledge, just because it feels good, and it's the right thing to do.
