typical and most basic version of printing posters for newbies

So you are a beginner to this poster printing business? There are a few new concepts you must learn when you print posters, but they are not as hard as you would imagine. Poster printing can be very simple if you just do your homework and read up on what should always happen. In this article, we will show you the typical and most basic version of printing posters. We call this "operation poster printing" for beginners. So let us start with step number one.

1. Sketch out your concepts
In most works of art, the first thing that you need to do is to just sketch out your concepts. Do a brainstorming if you will on your poster design. Imagine the different styles you want to use on your color posters. Go wild with your imagination and see all the possible ways you can convey your message. Three to five different detailed concepts should be okay for you to get going.

2. Choose a good design
With those three to five detailed concepts, you will need to choose the best for your print posters. You may want to have other people help you out with the choice so that at least you know how some other people can react to the concept. Get the votes of a number of important and respected people in your life and see if they hum to your own choice of concept. If there is really one great idea on your rough concept sketches, it should show with people's choices.

3. Gather your raw design materials
Once you have the design idea all figured out, you now need to gather all the raw design materials. Take photographs, create clips and download images, font styles and poster templates. Anything and everything that you need for your digital poster must be ready, encoded and ready for loading for your design software to handle.

4. Compose your poster design
When all the materials have been provided, then you just need to fire up the computer and compose your poster design. Try to adhere to your concept as much as possible but do not forget to let your imagination drive your hand. Do several variations of your design just to have a few more choices available for printing. Choose the one that looks the best for printing.

5. Look for a good poster printing service
With the design ready, you should then look for a good poster printing service. There might be a few good local ones in the yellow pages. You can also look for a poster printing service online if you want to do it all in the comfort of your own home. Make sure though that you "shop" for a good printing service though to get the best price for the best quality.

6. Determine your preferences for printing
When you find what you are looking for in a poster printing company, you should then determine the preferences for printing. Choose the type of color the printer will use, the type of paper, the dimensions and any other important element that you want specified. Make sure that all your decisions are final before the presses start printing.

7. Print your posters
Finally. Once everything is prepared, just send your designs along with your payment to the printer and it is out of your hands. In a few days you should get your custom posters and more or less they should be awesome.

Great! You now know how to do a typical "operation poster printing".
