It's important to understand the power of faith in God's Word
because fear is such a massive thought force competing for
control of our minds.

It's good to remember that it's not so much what happens to
us, but how we handle it. When our expectations become let
down, it will be at that moment when we must decide how to
react.

We must not allow discouragement to dim our hope! There will always be many reasons to feel discouraged, but better reasons to reject discouragement. It is promised in Galations 6:9 that we are to not grow weary in well doing, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.

What brought about your current circumstances? Have you ever
really thought hard about it?

Self-talk is vital! We spend more time with ourselves than
anyone else in the world. That's why we have to be our own
best friend. We live in a fallen world and there's already
too much in life that is against us anyway. We don't need to
be beating up on ourselves too.
