Juventus defender and Italy's team captain; Fabio Cannavaro had the chance of signing for the Real Madrid next soccer season and he did it.
Fabio Capello who is the current Real Madrid coach received the news from the player himself. After this announcement Capello confirmed that the soccer player will be part of the Spaniard group next season at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium.
Cannavaro is considered one of the finest players of the World Cup 2006 in Germany, at the age of 32; he was also in the selection list of the Chelsea and the AC Milan. The player has been an important piece for the Juventus over the past two years.
Rumor has it that, the player is playing for the Real along with Emerson and the fee that the team agreed to pay was approximately 20 million euros for the two soccer players.
The agreement was finalized last Wednesday in Turin by the sporting director Pedrag Mijatovic. The players are on holiday, but they will be at the Bernabeu as soon as they sign their respective contracts.
