Horse Racing is a sport that has been developing over the years. In the past Romans use to call it "chariot races". This sport is very popular around the world and as many know it is related to gambling.
The most common form of horse racing is the thoroughbred horse racing, in which the trainer trains the thoroughbred horse for a particular event. The trainer has a specific professional relation with the Jockeys, who are the ones who ride the horses and help the trainer with feedbacks.
A Handicap Race: in this type of race the runners have been "handicapped" according to their performance in previous races and all the horses have the chance to compete in other races.
The Kentucky Derby, the Preakness Stakes and the Belmont Stakes together form the Triple Crown, one of the most popular events in the United States for horse racing.
The Breeder's Cup, event that takes place at end of the year has been challenging the Triple Crown. Horse racing is also held in many other places as Australia where the sport has had a lot of success and in Europe specifically in United Kingdom and Ireland.
