If you love flea markets, there's always Christmas bargains to be found. Second hand goods don't have to translate into something tasteless. You can find many treasured heirlooms at flea markets and yard sale that are priceless. The good thing is - you can buy them for a steal and give someone a great gift. If you know someone who is a collector, say of Matchbox cars, spending a little money on a car for the collection is a fine way to show you care.
Sometimes, just spending time with family and friends is enough to say how much you care. You might consider going to nursing homes to spread cheer, or helping out at a soup kitchen on Christmas day. Giving companionship is one of the greatest gifts you can give, and it doesn't cost you a penny.
