Need some help choosing flowers for that special lady? We are here to help! Make an impression by sending her beautiful flowers!

Something Simple & Sweet

Consider a mixed bouquet of daisies, lilies and wild flowers. This mixed bouquet is appropriate no matter what the occasion. Don't worry, sending her that bouquet doesn't mean she expects you to propose the next time you see her. It simply lets that special someone know that you are thinking of them. If you have never sent flowers to her before, please make sure she is not allergic to them!

Someone need a pick me up?

A basket of Flowers or a flowering plant with a teddy bear is just the right touch to brighten someone's day! Perfect for someone who is having a bad day or doesn't feel well.

True Love…

Traditionally, roses mean love. Especially Red Roses. But don't feel confined to just red. If you know she likes yellow, then send her 1 dozen yellow roses. For special occasions, such as Birthday, Valentine's Day or Anniversary, make more of an impression by sending a spectacular 2 or 3 dozen roses in a vase. To be unique, send 2 or 3 dozen of a more rare flower, like calla lilies:) WOW! Add balloons and a bear for a real surprise!

Attending a special event?

What a thoughtful touch.....to order a beautiful corsage for her to wear! If possible, let the florist know the color of her outfit. Your florist can recommend a color complimenting her attire. The weight of the fabric she is wearing is also important if you are choosing a pin on corsage. If the fabric is lightweight, the corsage will need to be light as well so it doesnt hang. You can also choose a wrist corsage. Let your florist know if she is petite, so that the flowers wont be too overbearing and heavy on her wrist. Always order your corsage a few days ahead of time, and arrange pickup or delivery the day of your event. The corsage can be kept in the refrigerator until it is time to wear.

Something different...

Consider sending her a gift basket! One with Lotions, Bubble Bath, Candles, Chocolates, Wine Glasses, Wine (check with your florist for availability of beverages containing alcohol). You could even ask your florist to add a bag of rose petals, a teddy bear and some balloons. It is a very romantic gesture. With a heartfelt personal message attached from you, she will adore it.

When in doubt…

Ask the florist. They are the experts! Tell the florist what kind of personality your recipient has. Maybe even what colors they like. With your sentiment in mind, they can recommend the perfect arrangement.

Include a Message…

Always include a message with your flowers. Even if it is just, "From, John" or "Love, Phil". It can be very frustrating to some people to receive a gift without knowledge of who sent it. Simple sentiments like….. "Just wanted you to know I am thinking about you today" or "Thank you for being you" are appropriate. Of course, If the gift is being sent for a particular occasion, mention that. For example, "Happy Birthday to a Beautiful Woman- With Love, John". Perfect! Simple and Sweet! If you are really at a loss for words....there are many resources online that list short poems and quotations. With a little research, you can find something creative and romantic.

Get a calendar book guys! It's the best way to keep track of birthdays, anniversaries, etc. It is always best to call a few days ahead for your flower order. So if her birthday is next Saturday, call on Tuesday or Wednesday, to make sure your flower order is placed and can be delivered to her on her "Special Day". Also make sure you know her schedule. Arrange for flowers to be taken to her work if she will be there all day.

Finally, be sure you are dealing directly with a REAL local florist to get the best value and service! If you are not talking directly to the florist that will be designing your order, you are probably paying someone a fee to process your order. Be smart, go direct to the real florist.

Flowers speak to the soul! She will appreciate your thoughtfulness.
