Kody Bateman is the CEO of SendOutCards. Kody Bateman has changed many lives for the better because he is gifted in the art of appreciation.

If anyone knows the power of the written word, it's Kody Bateman. As the founder and CEO of a greeting card company called SendOutCards, his vision has always been to help others act on their promptings. Soon he will be releasing a book. His book titled Promptings, Your Inner Guide to Making A Difference has many stories you've never heard before. Kody has hundreds of touching, heart-felt stories that he has accumulated over the years. These stories come from the practice of sending out a greeting card unexpectedly to someone everyday. This is not a new concept to those who are a part of SendOutCards, but it is a new concept to anyone else. He gave his company a tagline that helps explain his mission: "Changing Lives…One Card At A Time!"

There is no debate that Kody Bateman is in a league of his own. He has been extremely successful building his business. However what sets him apart from other booming CEOs, is that he has had a direct impact on the lives of so many other people in his company. He isn't just a CEO of SendOutCards, he is the life blood and model that people in this company strive to be like. Not too many successful CEOs will friend you on Facebook, or stop a conversation to say "Hi" to the new person who is just waiting in the background to get a glance at him. He is a level four sender of cards, not a feat top be taken lightly.

In order to be successful in business you need to have a compelling why. For Kody Bateman it's never been just about the money. Kody has a saying "The Crusade is Bigger Than The Deal". The goal of SendOutCards is to create millions of card senders all over the world. This goal was created not to make money off these cards, but for people to act on their promptings and say what they want to say before it's too late. This is a reason that is close to his heart.

In 1989 after Kody graduated from college with a degree in Marketing. He was offered a job in New York City. After his car was packed and ready to go, he said goodbye to his parents. He had a "prompting" to go over and give his brother Kris a hug good-bye, but he was off in the distance and Kody was in a rush. So he ignored the prompting, waved to his brother and was off.

Several months later he got a call in the middle of the night. His brother had been killed in a tragic electrical accident. The first thing that popped into Kody's mind was how he had ignored the prompting to say goodbye to his brother. He made a promise to himself and to his brother Kris that night. He would never ignore another prompting and would help others find a way to act on their promptings as well. This idea formed the basis of SendOutCards. This company has been through many changes over the years, but technology has finally caught up to his vision and allowed us to have the high tech system that we now have today.

With Kody Bateman leading the way, SendOutCards now allows people to immediately act on their promptings by send greeting cards and a wide variety of gifts directly from their computer. The entire process takes a few minutes, but once you start using it, you will notice the effect will last a lifetime for both the sender and the receiver!
