Social networking is becoming the wave of the future for marketing Your network marketing business. There's also a down side to giving up all your information while setting up your profile.

The most recognizable social sites are; of course; Facebook, My Space, Digg
and del.ici.ous, but it seems there are actually hundreds more, that most of
us have never heard of. No matter what your interest are you can join a group
of like-minded people, to discuss almost anything. I am in network marketing
and I like the idea of being able to work from home, so I join groups where
we can exchange ideas. When you join these sites, you are ask for all kinds
of personal information like, name, address, interest, age, and one site keeps
telling me to upload my resume. I wasn't applying for a job. They haven't
ask for blood type yet, but if they start, I may become suspicious.

Upon finding some of the social sites I joined the ones, that peaked my
interest, since they were about network marketing. But since joining, I have
become a prospect who's supposedly looking for an opportunity,
according to the number of phone calls, voice mails and emails, I'm getting. I
sympathetize with the marketers who paid good money for these leads. Some
average around 5 dollars or more. What a waste of your
money. Since I have a Primary Company already that I'm extremely
happy with, I am sure I haven't registered as being a lead, looking for
another company.

If you are buying leads from different sources and such,
I wish you good luck. That's why I'm an advocate of
generating your own prospect list. You know they are truly
looking for the business opportunity that you provide. You can
even contact them, the minute that they opt into your responder, and they
recognize who you are. These people are serious Leads, requesting
information about your offer. We've all heard the
saying thatthe money is in the list, but through
attaction marketing, we take that one step further and
say the money is in the relationship that you have with your list. You must
become someone that people, know, like and trust.
