Passion is the ultimate ingredient that determines success in achieving business, career, or your life goals. Many people with all the right talents fail to achieve for one key reason...their heart wasn't really in it. Passion is the ultimate ingredient that determines success in achieving business, career, or your life goals. Many people with all the right talents fail to achieve for one key reason...their heart wasn't really in it. When I say "Whatever You Do, Do IT With SALSA!" I mean bringing the same fire and passion that "Salseros" bring to their salsa dancing and music into every area of your business, career, or personal life.
When you put passion, heart, and fun into any activity or goal the rejections and closed doors don't matter. You'll have the state of mind to "Make the Imposible, Possible."
For example, up until three years ago I had never done Salsa dancing before and I thought it would be impossible for me to learn. I had two left feet. I decided to be open to trying something new. The music and dance movements ignited a fire and passion in my heart in a way I never expected. No matter how far I had to travel, how cold the weather, how I tripped over my feet, it didn't matter to me. I had to dance. I had found my passion.
For one of the few times in my life I experienced the same feelings learning Salsa as Tiger Woods must have felt as a young boy learning the game of golf. Tiger Wood's father, Earl Woods stated," I never had to force Tiger to practice." "He would ask me if he could practice."
My passion has taken me on an unexpected journey in three short years from fear, stress, and awkwardness, to being interviewed and featured on CNN, meeting great new friends, and entertaining and speaking to corporations about methods to use Salsa Music and Dance Movement to instantly change your state of mind and have the passion to get what you want out of business and life. I learned just by changing my physiology in certain ways I could change my performance in any area of my life. I share with other people how they can do the same thing.
Often I meet people who feel stuck in dead in jobs for example and looking for a better way. They want to begin living from their passion but aren't sure of what their passion really is. They've worn a mask for so long that they have forgotten who they really are. Here are a few tips I've found valuable in discovering your passion: 1. If you don't know what your passion is begin the process of discovery by clearing out things in your life you know are not your passion or are draining you. Make room for something new. 2. Be open to learning and doing new things you never have experienced before. 3. Ask yourself the following questions: "What would you like to do with your life if money were not an object?"
"If you had six months to live how would you spend your time?"
"What if I had all the time in the world? What have I already done that I would like to focus my efforts upon?" 4. Record your answers to these questions and monitor your internal responses and watch closely how you react. 5. Work through the process with your Personal Coach or other trusted advisor. It's passion that causes people to stay up late and get up early. It's passion that people want in their relationships. There is no greatness in anything without a passion to be great.
